I've known about this place for years because there's other ones that r around. This was like a back up to our regular pizzeria. But I have to tell you the pizza is incredible. it's made properly there's exactly enough stuff on it. It's never burned. You know just a great local pizzeria. BUT the is why I'm writing the review. I ordered the calzone. with prosciutto and the cheese, I swear to God that it was angled into a small pizza box because it couldn't fit back-and-forth. I cannot imagine what a large looks like. It was absolutely fantastic and so was the other half the next day.

Tried both dine in. And takeout and food was consistently good. Staff was friendly and courteous. Food portions were generous. Quaint small restaurant provided a nice setting for a family dining.

Our large group had a meeting at this great, cozy, vibrant pizzeria/restaurant and we couldn't be mired in satisfied. From the food, the service, the hospitality, the atmosphere, everything was outstanding. Andriano (owner of Mr. Nino's) always treats our group like family. The food, from the assortment of appetizers, to each individual entree was spectacular. Special thanks to our servers Giovanna and Dianna for putting up with our crew. Everyone was more than pleased with their meals, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Frutti di Mare (fruit of the sea), a wonderful variety of fresh seafood in a tasteful homemade tomato sauce, served over a ample bed of al dente linguini. Loved every bite! Did I mention that Mr. Nino's III is a BYOB, so remember to bring along a bottle of your favorite bottle of wine. If you haven't yet visited Mr. Nino's III Brick Oven Pizzeria, do yourself a favor and stop in for a tasty and enjoyable lunch or dinner. It's most certainly worth a visit. Kearny Ave. is a busy street, but there is a public parking lot across the street from the restaurant, plus an additional small parking lot in the rear. Delicious great pizza I like the pizza it is very tasty! My daughter always wants to go here once we get into Kearny The service was nice and friendly too! The young lady brought our slices to the table and was kind! The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and it was busy at lunch time and they were quick and efficient

Another place off my list...always loved this place for their wings. And yes they are still great but $75 for 50 wings is a bit extreme for me. Their online menu states $65 if they are tossed in sauce otherwise $54 plain which is what I got today. When I called to order the girl told me I would get a discount if I paid cash, however after asking the price I somehow still paid $75 and got a lot of blubbering from the person who was ringing me up because he couldn't give a straight answer as to why...he mentioned something about the menu changing all the time which i get, but that would be a bit extreme to me since this is the menu both online and at the restaurant. Needless to say we love the wings but probably won't be ordering them again anytime soon because that is a ridiculous price to pay. And a side note they don't include celery sticks or carrots anymore either.

Everyone should try the Italian Special Sandwich My family has been going to Mr Nino for years. Mostly different types of pies but their pizza is the best in town. So today it was only my husband and me ordering and he wanted a chicken parm sandwich. So I ordered something different from the menu their Italian Special sandwich (grilled eggplant, roasted peppers, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella). What a treat! When I first saw it with no condiments I thought it would be a little bland but Mr Nino did not disappoint. The saltiness of the prosciutto and the seasoning from the roasted peppers was awesome. Of course, the size of the sandwich was enough for two meals. Thank you Mr Nino's for another amazing dinner.

Me love me some Nino's. Great Italian food in Kearny. Once you taste the food here, you can tell it was made with love. Nice little pizza shop, right in the strip of Kearny Avenue. Every single item on the menu is awesome. Portions are huge and the service is excellent. The decor has a very "family like" environment. I love to come here and I encourage your reading this to do the same. Go!!!
